Why did you choose endurance racing?
John McGuinness : "I did not hesitate for a second when I was invited to race in the World Championship FIM Endurance two years ago. I am 40 years old this year, so this is a good opportunity for me to diversify my career. The riding style suits me perfectly and the results are already good, as we are able to win the title this year".

What does the TT have in common with endurance ?
"In both cases, you have to know how to keep behind the leaders, do not give 100%. However, the consequences are less serious when you fall on a track rather than on the road. These are two 'old' disciplines with riders who are accessible to the public. There is a real popular enthusiasm at Le Mans as on the roadsides of the Isle of Man."

You are 3rd in the FIM World Endurance Championship , and the title will be decided on the 9th of September at Le Mans. Do you like the Bugatti Circuit?
Mmm… actually, it's not my favourite. But that's not very important, the track is the same for everyone. I like driving, whatever the discipline, whatever the bike, and whatever the circuit!
