Rock music and blaring exhausts, there’s no better cocktail! For an exceptional Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorbikes, an exceptional concert: the mythic English group will play at the Bugatti circuit on Saturday 24th September 2011.

The 34th running of the great endurance classic will take place on a new date, 24-25 September 2011, which coincides with an absolutely exceptional free concert. The Status Quo group will add their music to the race night‘s entertainment during a fantastic show starting at 21h00.

Last year, almost 20 000 spectators attended the concerts held during the Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorbikes. The presence of this legendary group should boost the attendance figures.

Status Quo was created in 1962 by three London students (the name was not coined until 1967), and its specialty is the heavy rock sound (118 milion albums sold and over 6000 concerts throughout the world). The group has undergone several mutations during its long history, but its music which defies time and spans generations, will gel perfectly with the Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorbikes public.

This free concert at Le Mans is part of the group’s tour of France this year, which will end in autumn 2011. An event not to be missed!
