The 24 Heures Motos enter a new dimension for their 50th Edition

From April 8 to 11, 2027, the 24 Heures Motos will celebrate their 50th edition at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans. In addition to the twenty-four-hour race, there will be an expanded program of activities starting when the circuit opens at 4 p.m. on Thursday, a big festive evening on Friday and, for the first time, the Coupes Moto Légende: a true classic motorcycle festival at the heart of the event. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest is thus bringing together today's endurance racing and legendary machines for a great celebration of motorcycling. The official poster is unveiled today, October 8. Ticket sales will open exclusively to ACO Members on October 14, then to the general public on October 15.

An XXL Program at the Bugatti Circuit

On Thursday, April 8, the circuit will come alive as soon as it opens to the public at 4 p.m., with activities continuing throughout the evening. The reception areas will be accessible in the morning. The 24 Heures Motos night practice will be extended by thirty minutes, for two hours of track time from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will then give way to two night sessions of the Coupes Moto Légende.

Friday, April 9 will be devoted to free practice and qualifying, interspersed with track sessions for the four Coupes Moto Légende classes. A must-see event of the day, the autograph session will let the public meet the riders. In the evening, there will be a big celebration of the 50th edition: the circuit will take on a festive atmosphere, with a program to be revealed soon.

On Saturday, April 10, the final Coupes Moto Légende track sessions will precede the start ceremony and the riders' presentation. Legendary riders will also be on hand to celebrate this 50th edition. At 3 p.m., the Le Mans-style start will launch twenty-four hours of racing. The fight for overall victory will be matched by duels in each category, with the same challenge for all: combining speed, reliability and strategy to make it to the end of the race.

The finish will be called on Sunday, April 11 at 3 p.m., followed by the podium ceremony.

A Classic Motorcycle Festival at the Bugatti Circuit

For the first time, the Coupes Moto Légende will take place at the Bugatti Circuit as part of the 24 Heures Motos. Track sessions, legendary riders and a dedicated village will make it a true classic motorcycle festival. The machines that have marked racing history will return to the track in the atmosphere of the 24 Heures Motos.

Four classes will trace the evolution of the racing motorcycle: Sport Historique (1950–1964), Sport Classique (1965–1979), Endurance Héritage (1960–1980) and Endurance Légende (1981–2000). From Thursday to Saturday, sixteen track sessions, two of them at night, will let the public see these machines in action. Each participant will get four sessions on the circuit.

Clubs, participants and exhibitors will gather in a village dedicated to classic motorcycles. The public will be able to admire the machines, chat with the enthusiasts who keep them alive and extend the track-session experience in a festival atmosphere at the heart of the 24 Heures Motos.

"The 24 Heures Motos were built with the teams, the riders and an audience deeply attached to this race. For the 50th edition, we want to make this event a great celebration of motorcycling. The intensity of endurance racing, the lively atmosphere of the site and the arrival of the Coupes Moto Légende will give the event a new dynamic. We will bring together today's machines and those that have marked racing history, with the same desire: to let the public experience all the passion of motorcycling."
— Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest

A Collector's Poster in the Colors of the 50th Edition

The official poster celebrates this 50th edition with a distinctly vintage feel. Conceived and created by the graphic design studio of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest’s (ACO) Communications and CSR Department, it pays tribute to Christian Léon, depicted at the start of the inaugural edition in 1978, which he won alongside Jean-Claude Chemarin on a Honda RCB 1000. The YART-Yamaha Official EWC Team, winners of the 2026 24 Heures Motos, feature alongside him, bridging the gap between the event’s history and modern-day endurance racing.

At the heart of the composition, riders running towards their machines evoke the Le Mans-style start, one of the event’s most iconic images. The graphic design and colour palette draw on the visual codes of vintage posters, bringing the heroes of two generations together in a single image. The graphic design studio did not use artificial intelligence in creating the poster.

CAMPSITES Adapted to Different Uses

The organization of the reception areas will change to better distribute the different audiences. A new reception area at Les Épinettes, reserved for motorcycles, will replace public access at Tertre Rouge, which will now be dedicated to Coupes Moto Légende participants.

Panorama will be reserved for motorhomes and caravans, replacing Maison Blanche. The Ouest area will host motorcycles and cars under two meters in height. For day-trip spectators, the Expo parking lot will be dedicated to motorcycles, with a helmet check and free parking. The Raineries parking lot will be free and reserved for cars (no camping).
