The ticket office for the 2016 24 Heures Motos is now open since 10h00 ! The event on 9-10 April will kick off the 2016 FIM EWC (Endurance World Championship). So no time to lose to buy your tickets for the 39th 24 Heures Motos. Be ready on 13th October!
The Bol d’Or on 20th September brought the 2015 endurance season to a close with Suzuki winning its 14th world title. What better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its leading model, the GSX-R?
So no time to lose to start preparing for 2016 and come to the 24 Heures Motos, the opening round of the FIM EWC.
All the more so as up till 27th March 2016 pre-sale tickets are available at a reduced price: 53 euros instead of 66 euros after that date. And only 50 euros for ACO members! An original end of the year gift idea for all passionate fans to spend a riders weekend at Le Mans.
Note that as in 2015 the ACO includes a guarded parking zone for motorbikes in this price.
Obviously, the main players in the world of motorbikes will be present: Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and BMW. They will be entered by both works and private teams guaranteeing a very high level of competition.
The 2015 24 Heures Motos was marked by a thrilling final with victory going to Suzuki, which dominated the event winning the race in the EWC and Superstock categories, while the Metiss emerged victorious in the Open class.
After two wins on the trot the Suzuki Endurance Team (SERT) will be back to defend its title, and to score a hat trick to claim the 24 Heures Motos Trophy for good. For 2016 the cards will be reshuffled, and all the contenders in endurance bike racing will be out to start the season in the best possible manner by scoring a good result in the Sarthe.
And don’t forget that the 24 Heures Motos is not just about the race; it’s also a huge party and the weekend beats to the rhythm of different kinds of entertainment. The bike show on Friday evening, the concerts on Saturday evening, the various side-shows in the village, the traditional fun fair and many other surprises currently being prepared will all add to the weekend’s fun and games!
General enclosure tickets are on pre-sale at 53 euros (50 euros for ACO members). This tariff is valid until 27th March 2016.
